School (Sam’s in)

Sophia has been learning her alphabet one letter at a time. Now, Sam is catching the learning/creating/having fun spirit. He just finished his first work of art.

Here at MABTS, folks are all about helping people be in right relationship with God. That job doesn’t only take place outside the apartment complex. Moms are making disciples everyday with their kids.

Tower of Babel

Amanda, my wife, is a disciple maker. We talk about discipleship in the seminary classroom a lot. I’m afraid, however, we actually do it much less than we talk about it. It’s hard. Giving of yourself to other people for weeks, months, and years may be one of the toughest things you’ll ever do. At the same time, it is one of the most rewarding.

Amanda is giving of herself virtually 24 hours a day, seven days a week to our kids. She’s discipling them. She is teaching them to walk in relationship with and obedience to God.

One of the ways that she does that is through telling them the stories of the Bible.

Recently, I helped her teach Sophia about the Tower of Babel.
