Scribble

Organization. When you’re balancing, school, work, family, practical missions, and just life in general, it’s kind of important.

Here’s one way I try to stay on top of the game. I use a Moleskine Yearly Planner. I started using one last year and it worked great.

I keep up with appointments, write down ideas, voice prayers, jot down important information, and mark out to-do lists.

Where I Spill

Last December I bought one of these.

I was tired of trying to keep up with dates/appointments digitally, so I moved over to the pencil and paper side of organization. I didn’t plan for it, but that little red notebook has become the place where I spill. I keep appointments in it to be sure, but it also has become a receptacle for the experiences, feelings, lessons, etc. learned during those appointments.

It has also become the spot where I can jot down ideas, kill time with doodles, make lists, and pray a sentence or two.

Also, as I look back over the last year, I’ve ended up with a glimpse into my life that otherwise would have been lost.
